Reciprocal

As a reciprocal licensee, fulfillment of the education requirement in your legal resident state will fulfill the education requirements to renew your Louisiana reciprocal license.

However, a Louisiana reciprocal license must be renewed annually. Renewing your resident state license does not renew your Louisiana license.

When you renew your Louisiana reciprocal license you must provide proof or payment of errors and omissions insurance as well as a copy of your license from your legal resident state showing your current expiration date.
