National Association of Realtors (NAR) Practice Changes
Louisiana REALTORS Association has created optional, sample Buyer Agreement forms for real estate agents’ consideration in response to National Association of Realtors (NAR) practice changes. The forms are accessible on the Louisiana REALTORS website via the link below. Please note that LREC does not require real estate licensees to use these specific forms. They are being made available only as an additional information resource.
However, Act 690 (2024 Regular Session, Louisiana Legislature) requires a Buyer Agreement to be executed between a broker and a buyer in certain circumstances, effective August 19, 2024. Any additional inquiries regarding these optional, sample forms should be directed to Louisiana REALTORS and/or your own private legal counsel.
