New Wholesaling Residential Real Property Mandatory Cancellation Notice Now Available

The Louisiana Real Estate Commission has adopted the Wholesaling Residential Real Property Mandatory Cancellation Notice in accordance with Act 807 of the 2026 Regular Legislative Session.

Act 807 established new requirements governing the wholesaling of residential real property in Louisiana, including mandatory disclosures and documentation designed to promote transparency and protect consumers. As part of the Commission's implementation of the new law, the Wholesaling Residential Real Property Mandatory Cancellation Notice provides a standardized method for documenting the cancellation of qualifying residential wholesale transactions.

Licensees and individuals involved in residential wholesale transactions should become familiar with the requirements of Act 807 and use the Commission-approved form whenever applicable.
