LREC Welcomes Matt Ritchie Back to the Commission
The Louisiana Real Estate Commission is pleased to welcome Commissioner Matt Ritchie back to the Commission. Commissioner Ritchie rejoined the Commission during its August 2026 meeting after previously serving as a commissioner and as Chairman in 2022.
With decades of experience in the Louisiana real estate industry and a strong record of leadership at the local, state, and national levels, Commissioner Ritchie brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and perspective to the Commission.
Throughout his career, Commissioner Ritchie has been actively involved in the real estate industry and has held numerous leadership roles within professional organizations. His experience includes residential and commercial real estate, brokerage, real estate investment, and property development.
His previous service on the Commission, including his time as Chairman, also provides valuable insight into the Commission’s work and its responsibility to protect the public interest and serve Louisiana’s real estate industry.
The Commission is excited to welcome Commissioner Ritchie back and looks forward to the leadership, experience, and perspective he brings as the Commission continues its work on behalf of Louisiana’s real estate consumers and licensees.
