LREC Prepares to Launch Text Message Deadline Reminders

LREC is working to offer text message reminders for important deadlines like license renewals and continuing education completion. To receive LREC text message notices, you must have a cell phone number listed in your license account.
Licensees are encouraged to log into their MyLREC Portal website and ensure their contact information is accurate and current. LREC will not send spam or marketing messages. Text notifications will be sent only when an important deadline is approaching and requires immediate attention, serving as a supplement to the email notices already sent to you (and your supervising broker, when applicable). You will be able to opt out of any text messages received from LREC.
Text messaging will help reduce missed deadlines, saving licensees time and helping them stay compliant while focusing on their business. Establishing or confirming your cell phone number is an important first step as LREC prepares to launch this new text notification feature. Licensees will be notified once the feature is officially enabled.
