LREC Announces 2026 Leadership Team and Committee Appointments

The Louisiana Real Estate Commission (LREC) officially welcomed its 2026 leadership team during the Commission meeting held on January 22, 2026. At the meeting, commissioners were sworn in and leadership roles were confirmed for the year ahead.
The Commission selected the following officers to lead LREC in 2026:
- Synde Devillier, Chairman
- Tony Cornner, Vice Chairman
- Doneva Halphen, Secretary
This leadership team will guide the Commission throughout 2026 as it continues its mission of protecting the public interest and supporting professionalism within Louisiana’s real estate industry.
In addition to electing officers, the Commission also announced committee chair and vice chair appointments, which play a critical role in advancing the Commission’s work across key focus areas.

Education Committee
- Chair: Commissioner Horn
- Vice Chair: Commissioner Duncan
Legal / Legislative / Timeshare Committee
- Chair: Commissioner Pappalardo, Jr.
- Vice Chair: Commissioner Ritchie
Standardized Forms Committee
- Chair: Secretary Doneva Halphen
- Vice Chair: Commissioner Chustz
Technology and Capital Assets Committee
- Chair: Vice Chairman Tony Cornner
- Vice Chair: Commissioner Free
These committees will support the Commission’s efforts in policy development, education oversight, fiscal responsibility, legal and legislative matters, standardized forms, and technology initiatives throughout the year.
