Matt Ritchie, a native of Pineville, Louisiana, is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Marketing with a minor in International Business.

In 1997 Ritchie began investing in single family, multifamily, small commercial properties, and land. Earning his Real Estate License in 1999, Ritchie worked successfully as a real estate agent for three years when he decided it was time for more. He earned his Broker’s License in 2002 and in 2003 opened Ritchie Real Estate, LLC. In 2006 Ritchie earned the prestigious designation of CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member).

In 2007, Ritchie was elected by his peers to President of the Central Louisiana Realtors Association, then rose to the ranks of the Louisiana CCIM chapter to serve as 2013 President, then served as the 2014 President of the Louisiana Realtors Association, which is the largest trade association in Louisiana with over 12,000 members and most recently severed as Region 10 Regional Vice-President of the National Association of Realtors for 2016 which has 1.2 million members. In April 2017, Matt was named the Louisiana REALTOR of the YEAR by his peers in the state membership and voted Cenla’s Best Real Estate Agent by the voting public with over 130,000 votes cast.

Ritchie has developed a comprehensive network of relationships and contacts throughout the state, region and country that have proven to be beneficial to him and his clients.

Today, Ritchie continues to run a successful real estate brokerage while he remains committed to his and his clients’ real estate investments throughout the Alexandria/Pineville area and the Gulf Coast.
